The Junior Wildcats registration for the 2020 Fall Season is open. As a reminder, if you’re a rising 6th, 7th or 8th grader and live in the Dunwoody HS district, you’re eligible to play for one of the 3 grade based teams.
Practices take place on the field at Dunwoody HS on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6 - 8pm, subject to change. The Junior Wildcats play 8 regular season games on Saturdays with home games played at Dunwoody HS. We play in the GMSAA, the largest middle school feeder program in the country. The majority of the teams the Junior Wildcats will play against are in the same region as the varsity Wildcats.
The registration fee is $275* and includes two jerseys players keep, new helmets and shoulder pads.
*Scholarships available upon request; please contact Jon LeDoyen to discuss
The Dunwoody Junior Wildcat Football program is available for rising 6th – 8th-grade athletes living in the Dunwoody High School District who want to be a part of the Wildcat family sooner than later. Our focus is on the development and growth of football players who will ultimately play for the high school.
Varsity Head Coach Mike Nash and his staff will select the coaches for each grade and ensure they are teaching their principles to create consistency from 6th grade through 12th. Registration will cover shoulder pads, helmets, and game jerseys.

By playing with the Junior Wildcats, your son will have the opportunity to tryout for the GMSAA’s post season teams that participate in the FBU National Championship series for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Each grade based team is comprised of the best players across the GMSAA. The tournament starts in December at regional sites, including Atlanta, with 64 teams in each grade from around the country and concludes in January with the Final Four in Naples, FL. Many of the top college prospects in this year’s senior class participated in a FBU NC event. This is a great opportunity for players who might want to play football at the next level!
